More awards come member's way

Hannah Burke, Jefferson Grange's Food and Agriculture Director, is no stranger to receiving recognition for her work in the community.

On Thursday, September 9, Hannah missed the presentation of the Schuylkill Conservation District awards, at which she would have received the Youth Conservationist of the Year distinction, in order to attend the PennFutures ceremony being held in Wilkes-Barre to receive their Young Woman of Conservation Leadership Award.

Jefferson Grange members gathered to hear Hannah's acceptance speech prior to their meeting, cheering as she made her way onto and off the virtual stage.

"She's a great role model for our Juniors and all of us," Junior Director Michelle Zimmerman said after the presentation.

Congratulations Hannah!
